We are meeting every Saturday from 1:00-3:00pm in the Billiards & Games Room in the Connections corridor at ClarkLindsey, 101 West Windsor Rd., Urbana. This does not rule out the possibility of meeting in members’ homes as and when anyone would like to offer to do so. New people are always welcome to come, and can generally participate pretty quickly.
Our next session is Saturday 5/9/26 from 1:00-3:00pm.
Please observe these stipulations regarding our Mahjong sessions:
- Please be punctual and prepared to spend the full 2 hours of play;
- Please be flexible and understand that the number of participants needs to be divisible by 3 or 4 and is limited to 12;
- We reserve the right to cut off acceptances to meet these limitations;
- Our amiable social interaction has kept this group thriving for many years, with only these requests:
- The tables are pretty close together here, please be mindful and talk quietly;
- Some of us have allergic reactions to fragrances, please no perfume or scented lotions;
- If you are able to come, please reply by the stipulated deadline.
It is crucial that those who intend to come let me know by the specified time as this determines how many sets etc. will be needed, and whether we have a number that is compatible with having only 3 tables.
Yesses only please respond by 10:00am on Friday 5/8/26; you will receive an acknowledgement, followed by a final confirmation with any further details.
