Meet at a local park for an hour or two of walking during the week.
MONDAYS at 4 PM, we walk circuits at Hessel Park in Champaign. Meet at the main parking lot at Grandview and Elm. During winter hours, the time will be brought forward to 3 PM. In the height of the summer heat, we may change the time.
FRIDAYS at 9:30 AM, we go to different parks around town depending on heat and shade requirements. E.G. Meadowbrook Park, Crystal Lake Park, Busey Woods, Boulware trail, Roby Trail, Porter Park, Sunset Park, Mattis Park. Sometimes we do neighborhood walks – old Urbana and Champaign, Country Club area, Robeson Meadows West
